Privacy Notice
This notice explains what Urban Goes Green does with the details you give us through this website, Viber and email. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) and the rules of the National Privacy Commission.
Who we are
Urban Goes Green runs urbangoesgreen.com and its partner garden branches in Metro Manila. For anything about your personal data, email inquiry@urbangoesgreen.com or Viber us at 0919 090 9380.
What we collect
- What you type into our forms: your name, email, phone or Viber number, and your message. For orders and quotes, we also ask for your delivery address, preferred date and the products you want.
- Your email preference: whether you ticked the box to get gardening tips and offers by email.
- Basic site usage: Google Analytics counts visits, pages viewed, device type and rough location (city level) using cookies. It does not tell us who you are.
We don't ask for government IDs, bank or card details, or other sensitive personal information through this site.
Why we use it
- To answer your question, send a quote, or confirm and deliver your order.
- To pass your order to the branch or partner that will fill it, and to the rider who delivers it.
- To send you gardening tips, guides, blog updates and offers by email, but only if you ticked the box saying yes.
- To see which pages help people, so we can improve the site.
Replying to your inquiry or order is something you asked us to do, so you don't need to tick anything for that. Marketing email is separate and needs your consent, which is why that box starts unticked and is optional.
Who sees it
We don't sell your data. We share only what each one needs to do its job:
- Our branches and partners who fill your order, such as our Araneta Cubao, Sampaloc, Mindanao Avenue and Pasig branches, and NutriHydro for NutriHydro orders.
- Delivery riders (for example Lalamove), who get your name, number and address for that delivery.
- Service providers who run the tools we use: Web3Forms delivers form messages to our inbox, Hostinger hosts the website and our email, and Google provides site analytics. We also use AI writing tools to help us read and draft replies faster. Some of these providers store data outside the Philippines.
We may also share data when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries and orders: up to 2 years after we last talk with you, so we can help with follow-ups, warranty questions and repeat orders.
- Email list: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics: Google keeps it for 14 months.
After that we delete it, unless the law says we have to keep it longer.
Unsubscribing
Any time you want to stop getting our emails, reply STOP to any of them, or email inquiry@urbangoesgreen.com. We'll take you off the list within 7 days. You'll still hear from us about an order you placed.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- be told how your data is used, which is what this notice is for
- see the data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- have wrong or outdated data corrected
- object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent
- have it deleted or blocked
- be compensated if your data is misused
- file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission
To use any of these rights, email inquiry@urbangoesgreen.com. We'll reply within 15 days.
Keeping it safe
Our site runs on HTTPS. Form messages go straight to a private inbox, and only our team and the branch handling your order can see them. If a data breach ever puts you at risk, we'll tell you and the National Privacy Commission, as the law requires.
Children
Our forms are meant for adults. If you're under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
